A native of Delaware County and a proud wife and mother, Leah Hoopes has used her passion for empowering women in developing a successful women’s program at FitMax, while earning her Instructor Certification. With a background in competitive Crossfit, Muay Thai, and boxing, as well as licensed physical therapy for over 10 years, she has brought her own brand of enthusiasm for the past two years. Today, she continues to augment her training with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to compliment her Krav Maga skills while mentoring under Jack and Chris. When asked what motivates her to teach she said, “I love to empower women, honestly knowing that women are more confident and aggressive when they leave my class and can handle themselves out on the streets, motivates me to keep teaching and gives me purpose.”

A passionate instructor, he continues to bring contagious energy and creative workouts to each class while striving to continue learning, training, and teaching the principles of Krav Maga to the teen class and his peers. In addition to teaching, he consistently trains to further improve his skills both physically and mentally. Dylan is always searching for ways to push his boundaries with Krav Maga and encourages his students to do the same in class.

When Dylan is not working, teaching or training self-defense, he enjoys spending time with his family and working on their garden. An avid fisherman, his hobbies also include snowboarding and listening to music.
